A complex development project is underway at Braunschweig Municipal Hospital to optimise workflow, increase capacity and improve efficiency.
A major investment programme is underway at Braunschweig Municipal Hospital (Städtisches Klinikum Braunschweig gGmbH) in Germany. The programme is focused on optimising workflow, increasing capacity and improving overall efficiency. It includes a new build and a significant refurbishment of the existing facility.
The 1,499 bed hospital employs almost 4,000 people and consists of 21 clinics, ten autonomously operating clinical departments, and seven institutes which cover almost every medical discipline. The hospital treats more than 61,000 in-patients and approximately 121,000 ambulatory/out-patients per year.

We were commissioned to provide construction project management, including cost and commercial management, building information modelling (BIM) consultancy andmanagement, and quality control services.
